A ship’s anchor chain is an essential part that joins the vessel to its anchor and provides stability and security in both calm and harsh waters. Anchor chains are engineered to endure heavy loads, absorb shock, and withstand wear from repeated contact with seabeds, in contract to ropes or synthetic cables. For more than thirty years, Zhoushan Zhongnan Anchor Chain Co., Ltd, one of the trusted China anchor chain manufacturers and suppliers, has focused on producing high-quality stud link anchor chains and studless anchor chains that meet global standards. Because we provide not only dependability but also affordability, customers from Singapore, Norway, Greece, Turkey, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand regularly select our products.

Every anchor chain from our factory is tested and are certified by major classification societies in order to earn trust on a global scale. The strict safety and performance standards for marine equipment are covered by the approvals we can offer from CCS, ABS, DNV, LR, BV, NK, RINA, KR, and RS.
The ability of an anchor chain to maintain vessel positioning and supply holding power is its fundamental function. The weight of the stud link anchor chain or the studless anchor chain aids in the anchor’s secure embedding when the chain is deployed and settles on the seabed. By acting as a buffer and absorbing wind and wave forces, the chain keeps the hull and anchor form being damaged by unexpected shocks. This balance between flexibility and strength is what makes chains indispensable for cargo ships, tankers, offshore platforms, and even smaller marine vessels. Our goal at Zhoushan Zhongnan Anchor Chain CO., LTD. is to make products that guarantee seamless operations in both deep sea anchoring conditions and shallow coastal waters.

The choice of material determines an anchor chain’s durability and strength. Our factory uses marine-grade alloy steel(CM690,CM490,20Mn,30Mn), guaranteeing remarkable tensile strength, resistance to corrosion and longevity under constant marine exposure.

Each link in a stud link anchor chain has a solid stud, which increases strength, inhibits deformation and is usually utilized for heavy duty applications. A studless anchor chain, on the other hand, eliminates the stud, creating a lighter, more manageable structure that is suitable for smaller ships, yachts, and mooring operations where weight reduction is critical.

We provide a large selection of sizes to accommodate various mooring systems and vessel classes. For stud link anchor chains, our diameter range spans 16mm to 162mm, ensuring that they are appropriate for small boats as well as large oil tankers. For studless anchor chains, we provide diameters from 6mm to 90mm, often requested by shipyards and offshore platform operators. Every size range is put through a rigorous testing process. The test load data is shown below:

Our anchor chains can be delivered with different finish options, such as hot-dip galvanized and bitumen-coated finishes, to optimize durability and withstand challenging marine environments. Each coating has special benefits, such as bitumen for extra abrasion resistance and hot-dip galvanization for better corrosion resistance.

For safe and effective operation, an anchor chain needs compatible accessories. Additionally, we provide swivels, swivel forerunners, shackles, etc that work in unison with stud link and studless chains.
